The Great Legislature

The Great Legislature is the term used to denote the meeting of all three houses of the legislature. Meetings of The Great Legislature are conducted within the center structure of the so-called Group of Four. The Great Legislature is only convened when an issue that impacts two or more houses is brought to the attention of the houses or when there is a dispute as to whether or not there is such an impact. Each representative of the houses has exactly one vote and for any measure to pass, there must be 18 votes in favor of it-a 2/3 majority. Citizens may petition The Great Legislature for a chance to speak for or against a certain proposition, though such petitions are granted rarely and only when the speakers stake in a matter is obvious.
